As a Nurse ( Clinical/Psychiatric) you will: - Perform a comprehensive behavioral health nursing assessment and history to plan, provide and direct nursing care across the continuum of care. - Develop and initiate an innovative teaching program for patients requiring special approaches. - Communicate progress and/or changes to the patient, family and members of the health care team. - Administer many psychotropic and complex medications and make independent judgments in the administration of PRN medication. - Develop and present classes related to psychiatric/behavioral health nursing to enhance the knowledge base of peers and subordinates.
