POSITION DUTIES: - Perform highly specialized diagnostic procedures utilizing advanced magnetic resonance imaging techniques. - Receive patients, explain method of procedure and safety precautions, start IVs as required, position patients, and counsel patients regarding the risks/benefits of the procedure. - Establish and oversee the maintenance of a quality control program in the Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Section. - Responsible for all major and minor equipment held in the MRI Section. - Train subordinates in performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
