As a Physician Assistant (Family Practice)you will perform duties such as: - Provide consultation, teach, and coordinate with patients and their family members of treatment and medical care. - Examine patients and perform initial patient work-up and assessment of patients' care and treatment. - Determine the need for and orders laboratory tests, X-rays and other procedures necessary to complete assessment of the patient. - Prescribe for and treat a variety of diseases, disorders, and injuries. - Provide a full range of emergency services or crises interventions in the absence of the physician.
