A reputable hospitalist practice has an opening for an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join their team in Northwest Michigan on the coast of Lake Michigan. The position is for day shifts.

Job Details:

• Closely knit, established team of two advanced practice providers, with the support of a System Medical Director and a discharge planner nurse
• 25-bed hospital
• Practice independently in an observation unit. As there is a lack of specialty support at this site, patients are typically lower acuity
• Great relationship with the ED providers and local orthopedic and general surgical groups
• Work 12-hour shifts. They do not work a strict seven-on-off schedule but work as a team to arrive at a schedule that works well for both providers while still meeting the contracted number of shifts
• Cerner Powerchart for EMR

Requirements:

• 1+ Years of experience as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner
