AdventHealth Primary Care Networkis seeking an APRN or Physician Assistant to join an existing practice in Ocala, Florida. The Advanced Practice Provider will join a team of physicians at our modern Family and Internal Medicine Heathbrook Care Pavilion. **Experienced providers are required, a minimum of 1yearof primary care experience. The APP, under the supervision of physicians, is responsible for:

Performs physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including womens health

Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory, X-ray, etc.

Independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions

Monitors the patients course of treatment and makes appropriate referral to either a physician or specialist, as needed

Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff, as necessary to provide consistent care to patients and support to staff

Displays a caring and professional attitude at all time as well as maintaining personal and professional growth

Job Requirements

At work, you will experience:

• Work Life Balance Schedule. Option of a 3-day (12 hour) shift; or 4- or 5- day work schedule.
• Shared Call. Practice call only. No hospital rounding. Nurse triage support for call coverage.
• Patient Census. Expect to see between 20-22+patients per 8-hour day utilizing the efficiencies of EPIC, electronic medical record.
• Dedicated Admin Time. 4 hours weekly for a full-time provider.
• Clinic Support Team. Includes one dedicated medical assistant (MA), front office staff, and a practice administrator.

Education and Experience Required:

Masters degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies

Prefer primary care outpatient experience. New grads will be considered.

Experience treating patients of all ages and a variety of acute & chronic conditions desired

Licensure, Certification, and Registration:

Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license

Current, valid DEA license

ANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification

Current BLS required; ACLS preferred
