As a Social Worker (Family Advocacy) you will: - Perform crisis intervention. - - Incumbent works independently as a licensed clinical social worker using advanced concepts, principles, procedures, practices, professional knowledge and sound judgment. - - Conducts comprehensive and complex risk assessments, clinical interviews, and psychosocial assessment of children and adults. - - Use specialized skills and training to interview victims, offenders, children and Family members regarding allegations of abuse or neglect. - - Assess individuals to explore the development of behavior patterns, mechanisms, and symptoms. - - Use a variety of professional instruments and techniques to assess the individual or Family and assess the level of risk and potential for lethality. - - Obtain relevant data from legal, investigatory, medical, command, social service agencies, schools, resource programs, etc. to compile information and present for a determination of abuse or neglect. -
